A brownstone located 105 St. Marks Avenue in Prospect Height  sets the record in this very much sought after Brooklyn’s neighborhood. This house had been listed twice in 2009 ($2.5M) and 2010 ($2.25M), before being listed this February for $2.999M. The house features what buyers are looking for in this kind of real estate: a well preserved townhouse featuring classic parquet floors, authentic period details, and moldings among other things.  The house drove a significant amount of activities symbolized by a large amount of offers, and a bidding situation who brought the property to enter into contract just a month after being listed for $3.1M.

Scheduled to be completed in the next 18 months, the project consist of a unique combination of 67 luxury condominiums and 16 townhouses and bungalows, seating on top of a 130 car garage. Needless to say, the property would have the amenities such as a pool, a fitness center, and private gardens.

The developer’s team has focus on preserving the site and are repurposing about 20,000 of the factory’s originial bricks. Units in the project’s main building will each have a unique layout. Steven Gambrel lead the interior design has been inspired by reclaimed and raw materials.

Prices range from $1.05 to $3.22 millions for the residences in the main building; $2.59 to $10.2 for Penthouses, and $1.08-$6.5 million for bungalows and townhouses.

After the successful run of 200 Eleventh Avenue and its in suite car garage, West Chelsea is about to welcome a new high end residential development which will feature in suite private heated pool. Its name: Soori High Line

Rising along the famous High-Line elevated parkway, the Soori is the result of a collaboration of New York-based Blackhouse and Singapore-based Oriel. The project will consist of 27 residences, designed following an “Asian-inspired trendsetting modern aesthetic”, featuring 18 ft ceilings, fireplace in living room, spectacular city views. The key features offered by the Soori High-Line set up a new iconic standard to high end living in Manhattan luxury residences. It brings a new alternative to very demanding clients who are looking for a different, very unique, and refined living situation that most sought after projects such as 432 Park Avenue, One57 or 56 Leonard offer.
