200 11th Avenue had made headlines quite a few times notably for offering private en-suite parking for each tenant (car elevator brings tenants’ cars to their respective floors), and for housing the designer Domenico Dolce of Dolce & Gabbana who bought a combination of 2 Penthouses for $29 million. Now what? After a complete makeover from Dutch architecture firm MVRDV, the last sponsor unit available in the building, a penthouse, is said to be coming back on the market for $23 million or twice the amount it was last listed. If sold at this price, it would set a new record at $7,000/sqft for a West Chelsea property.
